Dear Camera Club Official,
As a courtesy I thought I'd let you know that I've added your camera club to our useful links page under CAMERA CLUBS: UK - there is no charge for this.
photoenter.com is a fairly new, UK based photo competition website. We host two competitions each week that have small cash prizes. Namely: Editor's Choice which is a professionally judged competition without any voting. Viewer's Vote has an automated online voting system and it is free to enter and the most popular photo tends to win in this category.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
08/02/2009 Further to recent discussions at meetings as to what our rights are as photographers. We had another very well attended evening, i think someone counted 43 people were present. It is becoming difficult to squeeze everyone comfortably into the room. Because of this it was decided after the meeting to approach the warden with a view to move back to the big room. It will have bookings some nights but whenever it is free we will meet there. This has been possible due to the many new members that have joined us this year. Fingers crossed we may be in the big room next week for Donald Neasham's show "Its a Monochrome World". I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
16/10/2008 We have had another successful meeting. The room was bulging at the seams. Thanks to Helen Murtagh for giving us a very informative show on Photoshop Elements. Hope you all were taking notes! One of our members has supplied a local picture that St Catherines Hospice has turned into a christmas card. These are available to view & purchase using the link below. Following feedback from a member i have repaired some links on the site. Please inform me if you have any further problems. I can be contacted by email from the homepage.
10/10/2008 Thanks to Ken for supplying two of his pictures for the prints page. If any other members have digital files of your competition winners from last season. I will be happy to post them on this site. You can email them to me. The ideal size is about 800 x 600 saved as the highest quality jpeg. Talking of competitions we need your entries for the open monthly competition this coming Wednesday.
